How Much Does Appliance Removal Cost?
Single-appliance removal in NoCo typically runs $150–$200 depending on the item and how hard it is to get out (think basement fridge versus garage washer). We charge a small extra disposal fee for refrigerators and freezers because the landfill charges us for refrigerant recovery, but it's always built into your quote up front.
If you've got multiple appliances or a full kitchen worth of stuff, ask about our half-truck and full-truck rates — the per-item cost drops fast.
How It Works
1. Text us a photo
Send a photo of the appliance and your address.
2. Get a flat quote
We'll send back a firm price within minutes.
3. Pick a window
Same-day or next-day, almost always.
4. We disconnect & haul
Water lines and gas shutoffs are no problem — just let us know.
5. We recycle or donate
Whatever we can, responsibly. The rest is properly disposed of.
Note: we don't reconnect new appliances — we just remove the old one. But we'll coordinate timing if your new fridge is being delivered the same day.
What Happens to Your Old Appliance
Working appliances that still have life in them get donated to ARC Thrift or Goodwill of Colorado when possible. Everything else gets dismantled at local scrap recyclers — metal goes back into circulation, refrigerants get reclaimed by certified handlers, and only the truly unusable parts head to the landfill.
Appliance Removal Service Area

Appliance Removal FAQ
Will you disconnect my appliance?
Yes — we handle standard disconnections like water lines on washers and dishwashers, and electrical plugs. For gas stoves and gas dryers we ask that you have the gas line shut off ahead of time (a quick call to Atmos or a plumber takes care of it).
Can you pick up an appliance from the basement?
Yes. Basement, garage, second floor, fourth-floor walkup — doesn't matter. We do all the lifting and carrying. Tight stairwells just mean we'll bring an extra crew member.
Do you take old water heaters?
Yes, both tank and tankless. We do ask that the water and gas (or electrical) be disconnected before we arrive so we're not playing plumber on your dime.
Can you coordinate with my new appliance delivery?
Definitely. Just tell us the window your new appliance is showing up and we'll arrive an hour or two before so the old one is out of the way.
